Awhile ago, me and Bryan were invited to Patrick Owen fall/winter 2013 trunk show. Let me say that the collection is awesome, look at those bold pattern with astounding cutting. I love the maxi dress with the structured back and the pattern is just mind blowing. Patrick Owen is an upcoming yet very talented designer, the detail and the cutting are just extraordinary. Don't start with the bold pattern, just match it with simple accessories and you are ready for a big night out ! Get the latest collection of Patrick Owen guys, don't miss it out :)

Calla Lily Trunk Show.

A month ago, my super talented friend Gloria has launched her newest line for her clothing line, Jii by Gloria Agatha. I was quite shocked when she asked to me become one of her model, since I never do a modelling before and due to my height issue (being petite never allow you to be a model - I assume) I never catwalk before. So its quite nerve wrecking when she asked to model her line, luckily everything went well that day - no trip or falling or sorts. Her newest collection are amazing and this event called the Calla Lily Trunk Show really shows her outstanding line. The dress that I'm wearing have this amazing detail on the collar - sort of crystal flower embellishment and I just love the detail. More picture can be seen here. I know that I have been MIA for almost a month now, I'm not going to make any excuses but Bryan and I were so busy for the past month. Please follow my Instagram account here, I update more often there. So for the past week, Paris has started its most anticipated event of the year; Paris Fashion Week. Many well-know designer introduced their upcoming line collection and its has been a general knowledge that fashion have a very fast pace and they are able to predict what's new. From several shows, I can see that monochrome shades dominate the Spring collection (instead of going neon and colorful, bold cutting with black and white palette can be seen from several designers). Here are some of designer that I think have that edge with its street-looks: 

1. Kenzo Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have done an amazing job creating this solid yet effortless collection for the upcoming year. They have successfully mix fashion with street wear and for 2014, the collection was inspired by beach culture with selection of wide pants and shorts, amazing hand-drawn graphics, and bold set of colours.

2. Thom Browne Spring Summer 2014 Collection

Thom Browne has an amazing yet unique ways in presenting its newest collection, he literally sent all of his model with aviators and red lipstick. The classic military looks has become an essence in the newest collection, Challenging traditional concepts of masculinity, the collection juxtaposes classic military looks with feminine silhouettes. Though most looks were very over-the-top, with accessories including brimmed military hats and white gloves, there are still a handful of wearable pieces to be found within Thom’s extravagant presentation.

3. Givenchy Spring 2014 Collection

While Riccardo Tisci going on a different collection with bold print and graphic with slight colorful palette on the upcoming collection. The spring collection is full of busy prints depicting primitive technology, bold stripes and various photo prints. Although most of the collection was covered in Tisci’s known aesthetic, there are a couple of simple suits for those of you who aren’t as “loud.” The latest release doesn’t make reference to the biblical implications from collections of the past, but it is–without a doubt–Givenchy.
